That was new footage made to look old.

You just can't please some people, can you! :-?
But I have too agree, the command room was in colour, my guess someone has sneaked aboard after closing hours!

But it looked nice. The only thing bothering me, was the fact it was too slow and very much shaky. Might have something to do with the fact it was edited.

Youtube has some pretty good U-boat footage. Here's a newsreel type thing of Erich Topp during Drumbeat. It's all in German, but I think most of us can figure out what's going on. ;) Pretty cool footage of a deck gun attack, a crash dive, and flooding after being depth charged.
