That was real hairy

Just had a hairy time.

Encountered a large convoy in bad weather.
I was able to penetrate the defence screen and sitting snug in the middle of
the convoy firing my fish at close range (sight about 950m).
I just watch a large tanker take two hits, when i hear 'enemy is pinging us'.
I swifel my scope and on 180 i see a destroyer filling the scope.:88)
I order crash dive and alter course to starboard and man i get a beating.
Every comp flooding, the con blown to shreds, i almost needed fresh pants.
My crew should be able to get the flooding under control.
But how to loose that DD? Hey, i can hide beside that stopped tanker.
I go back to 20m and alongside the tanker.
As the DD is running around us i make snug faces.:smug::smug:
BUT then my sonar is yelling 'she is going DOWN'
NO, NOT NOW, i have waited for hours for a ship to sink and now THAT:damn:

But i survived:yep: Took me an hour realtime to loose that DD and my sub took some beating.

Now i need a serious rest.
Dieter (sitting in a corner and makeing 'bl bl bl bl bl' noises)

Never use a sinking ship as a hat use a good cargo ship its like taking a 10,000 ton hostage when the DD stops hunting you then you pull away and torp your "Hostage"... then run like hell.

Wait for GWX! Then you'll be able to say it's hairy. I'd tell you what the boys at the Forums are saying, but the Kpt. would then Keel-haul me in public.

I have given up hunting down convoys in the fog and rain 380m is awfully a short distance if you screw up.
