Cloning the torpedo-infos, show them in peri-screen .... HELP !!
 

Hi there,

i used the searchfunction already, but didn´t find the rigth thing, maybe because of my poor english :oops: ....... so here is my question :

in the attack-map (F6) i can see what kind of torpedo is loaded in the seperate tubes, for example there is a text "I : TI (G7a)"

i would like to clone these messages into the peri-screen, because i use the new peri-mod and attack the ship directly, without using the F6-Map

i tried the clonig, no problem to doubel it and shift the message to the peri,
BUT : the only thing i get is always "I : -", even if the tube is loaded !!!

so that is what i understand after different tests ......... the "new" messages can´t read the variable which contains the actual value, even if I show up the clones in the F6-Map, they are empty :cry: :cry:

where is the mapping of text-messages and variables, where are the definitions, i checked many files (*.ini, *.cfg ......) without any hint ................

Try the en_menu.txt/ de_menu.txt. I believe the tube load out is in the 900 series.

I always missed being able to hover my cursor over a red/green indicator light and seeing a status tool-tip. For example, "Type I LOADED" or "Type III Loading (0:32)". One of those nice little features that'd be so good to have.

It'd be awesome if you got your idea working, latemail.

I'd settle for an indicator over the tubes on the Periscope and Uzo screen telling me if the doors were open or closed.

but the thing I really need first is a hint for solving the problem with the variable text .... in the 900´s are only static text

(i can change "-" in "empty" ......... juppp, not really better)
