Portsmouth Naval Base
 
Ahoy, right, im outside Portsmouth Naval Base and im debating what to do, its November 25th 1940, im running the following addons:-

Grey Wolves
Seawolves
War in the Med
NYGM 2.2

Im thinking about entering the harbour and creating chaos as there are a few large merchants moored alongside, but once im in, im in and there are also a few detroyers moored in. Do i wait outside the harbour and hit the traffice as it comes in and out or do I go in for the kill and risk being stuck in harbour and blown to bits:hmm:

What would you do shipmates?

PS. No drips please about the addons. ive heard enough draining down to sink the Bismark about certain addons etc

Go in kill anything with guns then surface and use the deck gun

My only question is how are you running all of those at once? I was always under the impression that nygm, and GW were 'on-their-own' installs, that they were uncompatible.:doh:

Well, I'd personally sink them all because I have a grudge going against the British right now (the blasted limies sank my first boat with all hands with one depth charge...I stuck an acoustic up this one DD's bumhole right as he was dropping wabos on me...I was busy celebrating and making crude gestures at my computer screen to notice this wabo heading straight for the conning tower...). And take out the DDs first.

These add-ons overwrite each other as to most important parts. He basically only runs whatever he installed last.

I did just that in the original SH II on a mission called PDQ17 to which I sunk one ship at sea and the rest I followed into harbour and sunk the rest. I have done this on a few other missions as well.

Exposing yourself is not a good idea, unless you are 5,000 metres away then I would use guns on the surface. I have done missions where by if the Sea is rough then I would fire my guns as this helps me to be undetected/harder to hit as I use rough weather as cam and concealment.

You won't get in the depth of the channel to get inside the harbour itself is only 6M deep and is protected by land based gun emplacements.

Sneak in and sink everything.

I would hit the warships first to make sure nobody can touch me and after that hell can (an will I'm sure) break loose:D

Like I said the depth is only 6M deep go to pd your -4m you will be destroyed.
