Right smack in subnets

It is October 16, 1939 and I was heading toward the pass above Scapa Flow from Wilhemlshaven and in AN45, AN41, AN42, AN27 I keep running into subnets.

I was just through that area in September 1939 and headed toward home base and no nets at that time.

Am I going to run into mines in that area? I am presently in grid AN26 on 281° heading towards the passage between the little Island and the larger Island above Scapa Flow where Larwick is.

You should not hit mines. I go that way all the time.

Thank you mate. Never run into subnets before and it startled me.

If I come across a DD I in for it, cause when I submerge, I'll be in the nets.

I think what is happening, is that the modders in TGW1.1a have that scrapping sound occur every few moments.

I hate those darn nets. I found myself one day completely out of the water on top of a net in front of a corvette. BACK FULL BEEEERRRRNNNAAAARRRDDD!

I beached myself on a sub net 2 days ago in Gibralter about 1500m away from 3 anchored DDs and a anchored Southhampton light cruiser. Back full is right. I survived though!
