Around the world...
Is it possible to go around the world in SH3? I fully realize that you would need unlimited fuel on and a very high TC but is it even possible.
Just once I want to sink a Jap like I used to do in SH1.:arrgh!: |
Good luck and good hunting. Your gonna need it if you try. Oh, and I hope you find lotsa resupply subs too. Your definately going to need them. There are no shortcuts. ;)
|
Yes its possible. Although the pacific is totally bare of any traffic. The farthest traffic is along the eastern australian shore and only a few units at that. Past that, it is a great big empty slate.
|
With Grey Wolves theres traffic in the south Pacific, a few nice tramp steamers around South Australia :p
* i know cause thats where i live and i wanted to see what its like there* |
i'm pretty sure you'll fall off the Earth.

If you travel through the Panama canal in a IXD2 at low speed and refuel in Penang, maybe it can be done? I will plot the course and ask my navigator next time I play the game.

You can put some ships in pearl harbour and visit this place in 7-december 1941!
|
That would be cool (to visit Pearl Harbor)! And you can't go through the Bering Strait? *frowns* I didn't know that...what about the Northwest Passage?
|
I still think that since the worldmap is flat, it means that you can't go from, let us say, California, to Australia. That's to bad if you ask me.....
