Emblems
 

Is there a certain date that u boats had emblems as i dont seem to be able to select one on the "Specials" menu, im in career mode and its September 1940?

I'm not sure but I think you can chose an emblem after you complete your first mission

I kept checking, but I couldn't choose one until after Patrol #4..

I think it's tied to renown, but doesn't cost you anything..

Running Patched Vanilla...

Download GW and get a boat load of them. You can put one on from day one!:yep:

hummmmmmmm i'll have to check that out,,,, i've got GW,,,,,,,,where to you go to find them,,,, i saw files for the nasty german cross and such:-?

i downloaded GW last week but made no difference:cry:

Ive got the emblems in my SH3\Data\ Emblems folder, just cant select one in the office on the Specials Menu

Or tamper with the:
C:\Documents and Settings\your name\My Documents\SH3data\cfg\Careers\kaleun name
Patrols_0 cfg file...but that wpuld be cheating :nope:

Thats odd dude. I can do it from day one although I don't so as not to affect my renown on the first patrol...no upgrades please...some glitch in the game.:cry:

on my 4th patrol now and got plenty renown and made some decent kills and still cant add an emblem to my rusty old boat :x

Are you able to scroll the list at all? Can you see emblems to choose from at all? Use the red in color triangles to scroll the list to choose from.

nope, cant see any emblems or choices at all

You might want to consider a re-install :hmm:

start a career in 44' or something and see if it works from headquarters before the first mission... if ti doesn't show then u might have a problem. i started in 39 and i think i only noticed it or it appeared after several patrols. it's not tied to renown i dont' think
