Passing U-Boats
As a "real submariner" i was wondering today how many sunken u-boats I may have passed over the last 15 years serving in the Royal Navy. Im going to try and find a worldwide chart of sunken u-boats then i will have a fair idea, then the next time im at sea and pass close to one I can spare them a thought, as all submariners are a member of a brotherhood, even the enemy is my brother if he serves in a boat beneath the waves.:smug:

yeah i heard that a map with sunken u-boats exists ... try to search it on google ;)

I think the figure is... 3 out of every 4 German Submariner's in WW2 lost his life.

i remember some info on how many german sailors lost their life ,
36000 german sailors entered the war.. 26000 didnt return :| |
