Crew Voices
 

Why are the crews voices so quiet in SH3??? Is there a mod to make them louder or maybe change the sound files, i can harley hear them unless turned up to 80%

the voices are not quiet...if u are in combat theyre become alert and the crewman will yell..!

maybe its a sound problem .. ? check your sound system

Adjust the audio setting in the main menu. Leave the crew voices at 0 and turn the others down abit. I use this as I leave SH3 running while I do other things and I can easily hear things like "Aircraft Spotted" etc. At which point you can usually find me legging it through the house before I get bombed.

Sounds like a volume setting that you can adjust from the options screen in the main menu. R1fl3M4n is correct though....I've noticed 3 or 4 different ways that the crew voices sound. A normal voice, an excited, heat of battle shout, and a silent running whisper...

All fixed now, apparently my 3 year old boy has been playing with the speaker plugs on my pc, i simply told him:-

Achtung!!! Das Machine is nicht fur gefingerpoken, dumbkopf!!!

Mine PC Machine is nicht fur gefingerpoken und mittengrabben. Ist easy schnappen der springenwerk, blowenfusen und poppencorken mit spitzensparken. Ist nicht fur gewerken by das dummkopfen. Das rubbernecken sightseeren musten keepen das cotten-pickenen hands in das pockets - relaxen und watchen das telletubies und das televisions.
