In case anyone else is having this problem despite following DGUIs patching instructions, I just found the cause and solution:

The reason why this happens is that there are mods on top of DGUI in JGSME's loading order that also have their own sh3.exe, in this case here it's EnvSimAct_10 if you used the EnvSimAct_10 folder from the NYGM package . So you might have applied the tychopatch to the sh3.exe in DGUI, but if the sh3.exe in EnvSimAct_10 is unpatched, the problem with the split map occurs because JSGME replaces DGUIs sh3.exe with EnvSimAct_10s sh3.exe

I have another problem, though. The commands for crew on deck, pennants etc don't work :( Any ideas why? Here's my mod list:

Try to take the Cfg/Commands_Eng of my LSH3 mod, it should work.
(Or my Ccom12 mod)

That's funny. It makes at least some of the commands work but it does weird stuff to the graphics. Everything becomes kinda blurry and low res. I know it doesn't make sense but it's true. I delete the cfg-files and everything's fine again.

I know which is why I don't understand it either. I tried it several times, always with the same results.

Not familiar with the DGUi mod, but why is there an .exe with the Envsimact10 file ? The env. file does not need it.

I don't know, but there was an .exe in the envSimact folder that came with NYGM

Of course EnvSim act doesn’t need exe...
There is an exe with the DGUI mod nonetheless.
