Hi !
it is exactely the same with "Ahnenerbe WideGui 1920 x 1080" for gwx3, for ccom11.1, for lsh15, for nygm and for WAC5...
but you are the first one who is disrupted.
Sh3 is even today (12 years after his release !) the more immersive uboat game, even if we cannot make all that we want...
modders try to improve with the limitations due to the stock game.
And it is incredible and magnificent to see all which was realized by them !
Have fun !

:yeah:

And so you are really saying that
1) a modder cannot correct wrong mouseclicks in the GUIs (what about writing a correct 'commands_en.cfg or commands_de.cfg' ?)
2) No one has ever noticed this problem ?

This is hard to believe, so in your story something is missing...
I think modders should play the game more instead of modding so they can notice certain things not working. Or maybe just not, and that's why I'm reporting and making a WAC request here (maybe at the wrong place, if so sorry), I'm a player, not a modder :)

We are all players at thirst. Have you an idea of the time which it represents to modding ?
For discussion about " Ahnenerbe WideGui 1920 x 1080" it is here : http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=215433
:up:

edit :
at static camera, the clic to the hatch to switch between command room and radio room does not work. i see nothing else wrong. that could perhaps be corrected.

HanSolo78 01-06-18 05:06 AM

@xenonsurf

Just use Manos commands_en & de to geht mouse clicks back!
Maybe the camera.dat is also useful.

I have not the time to play right now. Only short tests are possible.

I guess your picture shows a type VIIC tower, if I look at the upper wave shield.

You mean like here type VIIB conning:

I have WAC 5.0 installed and only the VIIA and model 1943 (at the bottom of the graphic) with said second flak gun seem to be available for the type VIIB submarine.

I was hoping that the version submarines like U-46 under the command of Engelbert Endrass were using, as seen in the video below, would be in game for the VIIB. Wich is basicly slimmer version of a VIIC tower:

Oh, you are miss-understanding me: I fully respect the time you take for modding, and yes: I know how long time and testing it takes, and I'm impressed about your results. But hopefully you will allow people also to feedback on things that do not work well, ok? If your work was not good, I would *not* feedback...
I will follow HanSolo's advice, so it will help me, no need to change anything because I'm the 'only' one...

Good ongoing with your works!

Thanks very much, HanSolo, I will follow this advice :up:

@Hansolo,

I have done as suggested, and it works fine, I'm now very happy to use the Ahnenerbe's GUI with full functionality:up:

Now is there a way to revert the open hatches without changing anything else? If I take the original U-Boat interior I achieve this, but this also changes the new crew and more. If I can do this, then ALL mouseclicks will work perfect. Thanks!
Cheers,

@Ericlea,
I'm now happy with HanSolo's solution, so I can use your GUI, I like it a lot.
Suggestion (maybe once you got the time...): Maybe change the observation periscope (that one from below) to have a larger view like historically accurate, but I really like your precise zooming, great work :=)
Meilleures salutations,

What the hell I'm doing wrong? This is my modlist and the game didn't start in FullHD after enabling "WAC5.01 WideScreensGUI 1920x1080 Ahnenerbe", just stock resolution streched to 16:9 with oval circles. Checked normal Ahnenerbe WideGui and it works fine.

XenonSurf 01-07-18 07:26 PM

Suggestion:

WAC 5.0
WAC 5.01 patch (obviously 2nd)
smaller waves
Campaign
Campaign supplement
Widescreen GUI (always last!)

Where is your main H.sie stuff, did you install it, maybe the campaign supplement won't work without, isn't there a readme for it, go look in the mod subfolders for readme's.
If your screen is stretching set your monitor scaling options to 'Fullscreen' and 'Display'.
Cheers,

Hey Guys
Last night i returned to st Nazaire finished my 5th patrol (March 1941) and tried to transfer to Lorient to pick up a ixb boat, but i took an error message saying you transfered to null ( or something like that) and i pressed ok but the message was there and i forced to kill sh3 via task manager. I got back and i was still in st Nazaire.
I added the mod through jsgme the 1940 french bases

Any ideas?

cheers:Kaleun_Cheers:

XenonSurf 01-08-18 12:58 PM

Yes, good question from Nik, because I'm currently trying to figure out how WAC handles not-normal returns to bases, e.g. what happens exactly if you try to dock on allied ports, on neutral ports, Milk Cows; what do you get there as resupply, does it even work without crashes ?.

@Nik,
I guess you are using SH3 Commander. Read the pdf it explains the NULL thing (just search the word), but I dunno if it's related to your problem.
