Remember the scene at the beginning of "Top Gun", where that guy freezes up in his cockpit & can't stop staring at the picture of his wife? Scary stuff.

Oh, and nice pic Dowly. Very easy on the eyes IMO.

I used to like Top Gun... until I saw this: :o

*sigh*

Another day and another sortie over the Mareth Line. Gefreiter Dowly returning from the worst mission to-date. Whole of the formation of 16 Heinkels and 6 escorting BF109s lost. The 109 in the pic is missing it's rudder and has both of it's wings holed badly. But despite the damage, the plane was able to hold out for one more attack, resulting in a downing of an American P40.

Dang, this one was a massacre! Everything went wrong! I saw 4 Heinkels explode in collisions with eachother as the other was damaged and steered away from the formation hitting the next in line. The rest were butchered by the Spitfires. As for us escorts, we were way lower than the attacking enemy to begin with, easy pickings for the Hurricanes and P40s. But dang, I say it again, if you dont have DCG, get it now! Brings the IL2 world alive, better yet if you can handle the maximum amount of planes in the air. For example, as I was returning, flying low to not draw any attention, I saw a battle the same size from where I just came from taking place ahead of me. Smoke, fire and tracers everywhere. Needless to say, I changed my heading pretttty quickly. :p

Ok, Not sure which version they saw but Maverick was in love with a Female Instructor. I guess if you look hard enough, you can see what you want ;)

I'm still a TOP GUN Fan but that video was a bit funny.

as for my problem I asked about earlier, I think I found out what's causing it. my virus checker. I think the problem is the 2 programs talking to each other is raising Red Flags with my virus Checker. I'll test it out later.

As for Keira, She's not so bad looking. I'd be happy to fly with her pic too ;)

On the way home, I spotted another damaged Spitfire flying below me and decided to surprise him.

Was one of those things I should have though over, maybe...

Well that was a nice sortie. Almost collided with a Blenheim and then ran out of fuel and had to land to a road... I swear I saw Osama hiding in one of those bushes. :hmm:
