Are SubSim Veterans playing Wolfpack?

So anxious to know whether and to what degree Sub-Sim Vets are engaging Wolfpack? :k_confused:

Without having to filter through names and community listings what is the most efficient and thorough means of noting how the Giants of our passion evaluate the Wolfpack experience? :Kaleun_Applaud:

Perhaps a voting or questionnaire mode would be in order? I haven't the foggiest, which is why I putting this to all and sundry. :Kaleun_Wink:

Single player atm . Borrowed my sons headphone /mic but no idea how to connect it up .

Yes, the vast majority have been championing it from the beginning; far fewer holdouts for single player than you’d imagine - this was never going to be SH6 nor was it supposed to be.

The real time aspect ramps tension, and the thrill of working as a group and succeeding is highly addictive.

It's nothing short of epic. The devs need to keep the realism/accuracy.

I understand needing to keep it "usable" as a sim on a computer, but time to drop the training wheels - there are plenty of other sims out there for that.

Subsim Vets

Been with Subsim for years. I must have thousands of hours in SH 4 with mods from Subsim.
Wolfpack is excellent and getting better.
Regular updates.
We now have trim tanks which makes diving a skill all its own.
There are now AI "bots" to take over stations for the player who is playing alone. Very easy to run a boat on your own. A lot of fun on Discord to play multiplayer with two or three people on each submarine.
You'll like it man. I'm approaching 400 hours played. Other Subsim vets have many more hours than I do.

In the old days (2003/2004/2005), we used to have killboards and post the results after combat for campaigns (per month it was?).
Is there something like this in the forum?
Might be fun to try that maybe? It brings an addition level of fun and comradery to the game

Ah never mind. I think I have found it. 😂

Hi Menno,

Yes,we have discussed fleshing out the scoring system in the game (which is relieve of of having to use Battle Reporters like in the WPL days), and once we get to the DD vs U-boat stage, this should take off. We should be able to set up a tonnage board and Aces scoring with the game handling all the data automatically.
