"Maid in the Shade" B-25 Bomber at my local air show

I didn't take too many pictures...but this is what I did get minus about 3 or 4 because of bad quality/blur. I was too bus- wait...whoa...this is awesome....

(I was doing that the entire time I was in the plane  and it didn't even leave the ground.)

For 400$ I could get a ride sitting aft in the gunner compartments and for 630$ I could get a ride up front. :woot: One of these days..... :wah:

This plane is operated by the Arizona Wing of the Commemorative Air Force.

The crew even had their own Chocks with the markings for the USS Hornet.

The guy taking donations is just like "You look like you know your way around this thing. Am I right?"

So yeah, I told him I knew all about it and how excited I was to see it.

"Oh good! I don't have to lecture you, just don't push or pull anything red and enjoy!"

He actually recognized me the next day when I came over in my CAP Uniform. I had a good talk with the guy about the plane.

I can't wait until later on in July when there'll be more classic bombers in the area.

She was in Lexington, KY today. I heard the growl of those big P&W's coming and looked up just in time to see her ripping across my narrow field of view through the trees. Thrilling to see her in the air!
