How long does a session take you on average?

Hello all,

I have been really tempted by Wolfpack after watching videos & perusing the forums.

One thing that I am curious to know is how long do your sessions take on average? Are we talking 1h-2h, or much much longer?

I am currently finding myself with restricted time / schedule to play at the moment ( awkward schedule and life commitments ) so can't really justify buying the game if I end up not being able to commit 100% to a patrol without having to bail ship halfway through a patrol.

I have been keeping myself busy with Uboat & SHV in the meantime but the cooperative & sim aspects of Wolfpack are undeniably tempting.

Thanks in advance!

Well, it depends on the conditions really. If it's day/clear, you may be able to see your targets from the start and initiate the approach immediately. In this case, 1.5-2 hrs.

If it's foggy, you may be forced to use the sonar to track and plan the approach... that can take a while :)

Hi Althar93 all the Wolfpack Mission Sessions ive played lasted between 60-120 minuets

Thanks guys! That was useful to know.

Took the plunge yesterday and been having some fun with a few random crew members in the Tutorial mission.

Still a lot to learn and to actually manage to sink something with a torpedo but overall I am pleased with the gameplay and atmosphere, it plays smooth and handles fairly intuitively.

I just did a 1hr5min mission. I'd say that one was on the quick side of things for me (playing solo).

Parameters:
- medium
- daytime
- overcast

Found the convoy almost immediately using sonar.
3 merchants + sloop. I sank the 3 ships with 3 fish (first for me in WP), mission complete. 30445 tons, it was a tight fit per medium requirements.

Post your usual playing times here, I would like to join a game with you. :Kaleun_Salute:
