Looking for Seeadlers mods & Sky mod for SH2 Fletcher Realism Mod 2.3 & a few ?'s
 
Howdy anyone have Seedlers graphic mods like the sky mod for Silent Hunter 2 that is suppose to work with Fletcher Realism Mod 2.3? Sure would like to give that a try sounds like it adds allot of eye candy to random weather? Thanks for any info! looks like Seeadler's had a new sun/moon/landscape mod too. Sure Would like to have those.

Was there a Way to fix the sound problem that happens when a aircraft attacks something you can hear all the damage the plane is causing to the object (when its not your sub taking the damage) and this attack is happening many miles away? Would love to silence that racket even if it meant to take those sounds completely out of game. Thanks for any info!

Also Sounds like the Major Mods for Silent Hunter 2 that hopefully work well together I will list below and hopefully I have the latest or last and final versions, let me know if there is a latter version. Thanks. Also hopefully the order of install is correct.

Please let me know if there is a latter versions then mods I list below


1. Silent Hunter 2 Patch SH2Patch1.1

2. Projekt Messerwetzer 1.3

3. Fletchers Realism Mod 2.3

4. Enemy AI Update DES5v3 and D5v3update, Any comments on this update and how it plays with the others?

5 historical_depth_charges_letal_radius_mod_v1.0.zip Is this a outdated mod compared to others above? I DONT HAVE THIS ONE, would like to have it if it is recommended and not covered in patches above.

6. Uboatmod22 Is this a outdated mod compared to others above?

7. ConvoyMod20 Is this a outdated mod compared to others above?

8. AcesKampaign_20_English and ace20fix (this seems to overwrite the Fletchers Campain though I think?)

8. Second Kampagne and SK_update_English was there any upates or fixes to these campaigns?

9 ArcticKampaign_10 and CBMedKamp was there any upates or fixes to these campaigns?

10. DAS BOAT Sound ProjektSchwertfisch and then Service Pack 1 and Service Pack 2 and DBSM_SP3_rc2 which is Service Pack 3. No more updates after 3.0 correct?

I think that covers the major gameplay mods, I sure would appreciate any info, and if there is a mod that I missed that you think really helps the game out let me know.

I also made a nice Big Carrier Battle that plays out random each time no land bases for the new CARRIERS AT WAR. I will upload that soon, really plays out nice for what kind of gameplay scenario I have always wanted for the game.

Also looks like I was searching hi low back in 2007, should have saved everything but I didnt think I would be coming back to SH2 or SH3, but here I am 6 years latter, hehe. I have a Windows 98se machine I just love, and this game needs to be one of the ones on there too, my Voodoo 5500 didnt do it much justice some reason for SH2 but I moved on to Geforce 4600 and SH2 looks much better.

Think there was a bigger wave mod for SH2, but not sure if it caused problems.

I don't recall seeing any bigger wave mods. When I play DC sometimes I go into the sim/scenario/weather file and adjust the "SeaState". The largest there was SeaState = 7 during storm but you can adjust up to 10. That is a lot for a destroyer, the entire bow goes under water and the stern rises out of the water also. Might be interesting in a surfaced submarine?

Thanks Tim, I will look into the Weather file and this sea state setting. Thanks for all your help. I found the rain version of SHII_Skymod_v12. I will make a new post of what I have found and what I am still looking for. Subsim may want to put these mods up on the site here.
