Bathymetry

I was looking at modeling accurate bathymetry for littoral ops and in to the shore. Currently in small places I have used source data that is from 10 and 30m NED (national elevation dataset) gained via the USDA GIS gateway, it is open public source data. And used Presagis Terra Vista to do conversions. I was wondering if anyone might have a better idea on an approach that is hyper accurate, or as accurate as one can be.

I don't know how accurate the DW bathymetry modeling was in this regard. Anyone have an answer on the most accurate data and method of modeling the littoral area?

littorals tend to have muddy or sandy bottoms with bottom limted covergence and strong currents other than that no clue.
