Problem 688i HK under Windows 7

Hi guys

I've installed 688(i) HK on my laptop running Win7 (under a c:\Janes directory). I installed the win2K dlls and the realism patch.

I run the game in Win95 compatibility mode.

Now, strangely, everytime I leave the ship control station, my speed resets to zero. So every time I switch to sonar room or map room, my sub is dead in the water.

Has anyone encountered anything like this before, and is there a solution you know of? 688 HK was my favourite sim, I'd love to be able to run it again.

Have you resolved the issue yet? If not, let me know as I have installed everything from Fast Attack, Sub Command, etc....I run these sims on my Toshiba Satellite Laptop, with Win 7......would love to be of help if you need it.
