Happy Mothers day

Happy Mothers day to those who visit here. Also for the guys here with wives and who have children themselves. I can name quite a few. Happy Mothers day to Ann and Moira as well, as they well and truly deserve it. Also, for the guys here who have had to act as both mother and father.

I much appreciate your sentiments CW but Mothers Day here in the UK was 14th March this year :03:

It is seriously suggested over here in Germany to replace mothers day with parents day, since "mothers" and "fathers" should not be used in official language anymore but only "parents", and the term mother is derogatory and sexist.

Last year I called my mom a day late. She picked up and I said: happy mothers mom! She replied: "hey, your a day late there kiddo". I paused for a moment wondering how Im going to get out this one. Then it came to me. "But mom what do mean? Everyday is mothers day"! She laughed "good save".

Laughs. Sorry Jim. I just assumed that mothers day there is celebrated as it is in the U.S. It would appear I am late then. As long as I'm not the late CW.

That's the story of my life though. A day late and a dollar short. :03:
