Ok, forget about the disk. I get it (for others struggling with the same issue ... select the weapon officer first).

ThePrody 08-14-18 04:22 PM

i think its a feature of the original Ahnenerbe GUI mod

Impossible to get it working correctly.

GWX3 no mods, installed to the letter, my nav map is screwed up in 2 parts by the middle screen, and my sub is showing even not on sea...

Don’t Understand, i patched it after the H.sie patch as commanded.

Fifi,

Did you uncomment the lines under the header Expand Nav and Attack maps render limit, from 1024x1024 to 2048x2048.
in the TychoSH3Patch map file as directed in Tycho's readme? If you did not you will get the split screen maps you are experiencing.

Open the map file in Tycho's WorkFolder with notepad and make the following changes. Then run the windows batch file to modify SH3.exe. When you load the mod with JSGME this time the map should look right.

Before....

Give it a second chance.
Bodaga thanks for your ARB WS really like it :)

Fifi 10-13-18 02:05 AM

Thanks Kelly, it should be the problem as I didn’t change anything…
I’ll probably give it an other chance someday :salute:

Kelly621 10-13-18 02:11 AM

A wish

Bodaga222,

Is there any chance you will be adding Tycho's just released functional draggable chronometer patch for SH3 into your excellent ARB WideGui mod? Would be a nice addition if you have the time to add it.

Fifi 10-14-18 08:20 AM

Ok finally got it to work :up:

Had to full re-install SH3 :timeout:
Something must have been screwed up somewhere.

Force_Majeure 10-16-18 09:59 PM

First of all, absolutely fantastic mod! I was posting initially regarding what I thought could have been faulty periscope tick marks but the problem was self correcting when I discovered I was incorrectly classifying the target ship during tests.

I went back to SH3 + GWX + mods recently when I found myself spending more time trying to fix SH5 glitches even with the latest supermods then playing the game! :doh:

Keep up the good work!

JAFO- 10-30-18 01:01 PM

I managed to get this GUI working with very little fuss. The wide map looks great!

:Kaleun_Cheers:

However... I noticed that this GUI uses ericlea's corrected RAOBF speed indicator on the periscopes. (it's a fix for the incorrectly positioned speed marker in Ahnenerbe WideGui Final).

The fix works, but sort of detracts a bit from the original appearance. So I recently made a version that looks more in style with the original instrument.

Here's ericlea's version:

And this is my improved version (now being used by ericlea himself):

Here's how it looks in-game (Ahnenerbe version shown here):

Until such time as Brodaga222 includes it in his next update, a JSGME-ready patch for it can be downloaded here.

Despite being named as a fix for Ahnenerbe, it's a direct drop-in replacement for the ARB WideGui as well.

Hi

There is a little problem with the reticles from v0.3.1.

We do not see graduations at night. Can this be corrected ?

Thank You

Hi !

Functional draggable chrono for ARB widegui is done !

https://www.dropbox.com/s/y12x287i61...idegui.7z?dl=1

Installation :

1- copy your sh3.exe wich is in ARB widegui mod (already patched with h.sie and TychoSh3Patch) and
paste it in this mod at the same level as "ChronoPatch.bat"

2- launch "ChronoPatch.bat" to patch sh3.exe

3- then activate this mod with jsgme after ARB widegui mod.

Thanks to Tycho for this great sh3 enhencement !

Nice, it works , thank you very much .

One more thing : What do i need to modify if i want it to start in this position rather than its default starting position in the right ?

ericlea 01-12-19 06:49 AM

i do not have time now, perhaps i am wrong but i think no

go in menu_1024_768.ini

and change the 2 thirst values of the position

[G3F I343]
Name=Slide Chronometer
Type=1026;Menu group
ItemID=0x3FF00000
ParentID=0x3F000000
Pos=1893,501,284,384
Color=0xFFFFFFFF

for exemple try with :

Pos=1050,200,284,384 (instead of Pos=1893,501,284,384)

see the result and adjust as your will
