ZeeWolf, does your work include "T34 vs Tiger- Kursk"? If not where can it be found? I've been looking for a good tank sim and this looks to be excellent.

I'm going to try the demo and see how it goes on Windows 8.1. I'll be installing XP on a second HDD for gaming only very soon.

Thanks!

Hi GT182
Yes, Kursk is at the heart of Project ZeeWolf. I am not familiar with Win8
however, WinXP is fantastic. Although everything should run very well on
Win8. :know:
As far as WinXp goes - if it would have installed on my latest PC I'd still
be running it. :yep:

btw, make sure you read my T34vsTiger Demo page AND follow all the
installation programs instructions CAREFULLY (reading every little word) :03:

Then, to receive the excellent tank simulation you have to join Project
ZeeWolf.

Let me know how it goes GT182 :salute:

Hi ZeeWolf,

I was member of Project ZeeWolf during 2015. The last update that I received was "ZW_2015_April_Update_v1". Nothing more after April. Did I miss some 2015 updates? If I want to continue receiving updates do I have to pay again?

Is project Zeewolf still active? If yes, what is considered to be a reasonable donation?

Thanks.

Any news on ZeeWolf?

Hi there,

has anyone heard back from ZeeWolf recently? I donated last week 60$ to his cause in good faith but gotten any download link nor havenīt heard back from him so far. Seems so that his last threads date back to 2016 and thereīs also no reply from the e-mail thatīs on his website.

best regards

strange

Well so far so "good",

I havenīt received any news from ZeeWolf but after I involved PayPal I received a full refund within 24h. Personally I would have preferred a download link for his expansion pack or at least an answer of any kind. Itīs strange, but well at least someone on the other end must be alive... maybe weīll see somewhen further expanion packs and get them also delivered.

vargsees!:Kaleun_Salute: sorry about your economic problem; glad u got your money back from reliable PayPal!

Well I hope that we all hear back from ZeeWolf it doesnīt make much sense to me that he puts in effort to create his expansion pack, offers it in exchange for money (which is logical) but then doesnīt deliver.
Whatever his reasons, Iīm looking forward to somewhen get my hands on it... T34 vs Tiger is my all time favourite game and it would be awesome to have a couple more missions :-)

joystick?

Has anyone had any success getting a Joystick to work with this game? I've had it on my comp but I doubt I ever played it, tried again and there's just no way I can see to get the thing to use the joystick axes.

Can't even get a gunsight in gunner view, LOL.

No joy with the joystick, here. Have to disable any stock joystick assignments in Options, eg the coolie hat (can I say that?) if used causes the views to go crazy. Like Steel Fury, I find I'm happy using the numpad arrow keys to operate traverse & elevation. As with most tanksims, the AI tank commander doesn't actually do much tank commanding but in T34-v-Tiger at least he gives decent target indications. And you can quickly align the gun tube with his line of sight if you have the turret position indicator turned on. IIRC F3 or some such key brings up the gunner's sight, there is a variant which suppresses the black surround but retains the reticle markings, for a less realistic but wider view. It's just a pity the AI is about worst in class, the radio traffic and platoon command and control simulation non-existent, and the mission content extremely scanty. The Panzer IV of that era with not even turret schurzen armour is also pretty naff. Could've been a contender, like the man said.

Hot to get this?

Trying to get T-34 vs. Tiger to work on Windows 10.

Hey Everyone!

I am trying to get what looks like an amazing tank simulator to work on my windows 10 gaming computer. I have installed the game and access all of the menu items. However when go to run a single player mission the game crashes to desktop. I have tried everything from running under admin to the compatibility mode troubleshooter with no avail.

Is there a patch or work around I need to do in order for the game to run?

Computer Specs.
Gigabyte P27G-V2
CPU: Intel I7-4810MQ
16GB Corsair Ram
2 SSDs
Nvidia GTX 860M
Windows 10 latest update.

Any help would be very appreciated.

Sure hope Zeewolf will come back someday. Doubt if he will 'relaunch' the project on that blessed day I grimly fantasize in the back of my cursed head. I will buy the mod when it does happen since I'll be making money by that time...

Messing about with the first German mission LOD's

As time has gone on our PC spec's have improved but it is still a resource hog and it is nice to it play again. Some of the reasons for the lower performance over stock TvT is that ZW has no LOD's for his wonderful tanks, this alone will dip the frame rates. ZW also has much larger scaled battles with many more units. I can see what he was looking for and appreciate him doing so.
