I've just (today) bought the game; sign me up if you're willing to have someone relatively green.

Just played for about an hour; go the hang of where everything is, can just about set and hold depth at any speed with a little bobbling up and down before getting steady.

Comms seem fine, as does Hydrophone.

Not yet loosed a fish, but all in good time.

Convoy was detected, consisted of 6~8 merchants and 2~3 escorts.

U-564 got into good position after a 20 minute run and fired the first shots!

After being given a warm welcome by an enemy escort, U-564 evaded the enemy and began working back into position but was the victim of an unfortunate accident ("What?! I thought you closed the hatch!")

Salute our heroes, they sank three ships for 13,727 tons.

Meanwhile our wily Captain derstosstrupp and crew busted the remaining convoy right down the middle, bagging 3 merchants and one escort for 17,365 tons. And lived to tell about it (derstosstrupp - you keep away from my widow!).
