[REL] Wolfehunters VII U-99 Series

U-99 VIIB is finally ready. I've managed to convert it to work with all VII avaible types for SH3.

She looks like a real workhorse. She doing her fare share of hard work. Each VII type has its own look and feel.:yep:

Some pics below to see the avaible skins.

Proper installation.

U-99 skin has many folders.

Open ziped file.

JSGME method,
Drag and drop the following files in the following order.
"Wolfehunters_U99_VIIB" FIRST
then when you upgrade to type VIIC enable,
"Wolfehunters_U99_VIIC" second,
If you have tomi's VIIC3 play model
then you need to enable,
"WH_U99_VIICplay3" THIRD.
You have a choice between the last two.
WH_U99_VIIC41play3
or
WH_U99_VIIDplay3 as the fourth choices.

You have to have Tomi_099 modeled VII series subs to use the WH skins.

Alt method to install is by copy paste into the MODS directory located in your Silenthunter3 folder.

Enjoy the skin and good hunting.

Any questions or issue pls post them here. I'll do my best to fix them.;)

:o :dead: Lol hold on my friend let me get some rest. I spent too many hours working and not enough hours sleeping my eyes are going to explode. Give me a few days before you bombard me with a new project. I would like to enjoy the new skin myself.

For future skins I'm looking at finishing a IXD2 type. But I can't find any good photos. If you find some please show them I would appreciated it..

Merry chistmas Lutzow.

Thank you;)
As you wish, Master - keep your vacation as long as you can.
But there always will be back to work - the battle for Atlantic has never ended !
For IXD2 i have only one suggestion/impression at now...
U-181 commanded by Wolfgang Luth - he took the longest patrol in WWII - about half year!! I can search better photo but look at his u-boot:
http://img161.imageshack.us/img161/6690/u181aj0.jpg
First u-boot under his command was U-9 :
http://img107.imageshack.us/img107/7365/u9gd5.jpg
Maybe this white color on turm is a sunlight and maybe not - but that painted ''DUCK'' [White turm and rest hull in darker colour] looks very interesting. Don't you think?
Of course - cross can be added by choice emblem but originally this black cross was maded from steel by crew.
Next fine camo scheme i found at U-37 - type IX A.

http://img162.imageshack.us/img162/9962/u37bbz3.jpg
http://img207.imageshack.us/img207/8856/u37coo4.jpg
The camos seems different but i'm sure that you can made the best choice.
U-25 - one of first u-boats in WWII - unfamous hulk ravaged by many malfunctions due to his bad construction. ...but his camo looks very impressive:
http://img210.imageshack.us/img210/6767/u25nz4.jpg
...and especially his turm:
http://img204.imageshack.us/img204/2713/u25turmyb2.jpg
Some skilled skinner can make super rework from this camo for uboot...VIIB?
Next fine camo scheme comes from...i don't know - look - pictures from two sources: One tells - U-81
http://img525.imageshack.us/img525/3507/bu81ey3.jpg
...and the other - U-565
http://img47.imageshack.us/img47/2042/au565pc5.jpg
Maybe someone can help me with this puzzle.:ping:

...to be continued

lutzow 12-03-07 11:01 AM

And here are impressions - they looks like dark camos painted on grey hull but we [me]of course don't want them. We want your imagination, Maestro.;)

http://img213.imageshack.us/img213/2865/u532qx7.jpg
http://img212.imageshack.us/img212/1816/u556re3.jpg
I love especially the last one - from U-556 because it's type VIIC - my favour;)
Of course - if you don't want to make them...:rotfl:

Wolfehunter 12-03-07 11:42 AM

Hmmm I don't want to make them? Yes I do. :smug: Well this should keep me busy for a while.

For U-81 I'm going to say its U-81. Well since I've made many of the 80's 81 is on my list.

U-37 has an intersting scheme. But there interpretation is of the camo is wrong. I'll post a revise pic showing why soon.

Nice work Lutzow your going to keep me busy for long time.

linerkiller 12-03-07 11:57 AM

of uboot in WWII !!!
