Leader board Score Statistics

__________Median____Standard Deviation
Seahorse....80019.5.......13188.12
Triton ........69514.........14014.54
Remora.......71247.........15114.79
Gator.........84606...........4843.58
Shark.........73832.........15208.71

Over the top 10 helmsmen, Gator & Seahorse are best. The Gator is more forgiving due to its low standard deviation.

Having 360 degree sonar with at least 3000 yards range seems to be necessary.

Remora and Shark are about the same. Triton is the hardest to pilot.

Of course, the scoring structure is also involved. The ones with higher top speeds get the least fuel penalty at the speeds in the simulation.

None of the top speeds will outrun a Patrol boat at 45 knots.

From these results, it seems that the experience is more aimed at testing the variations in design options than looking for skills to be incorporated from participants crowd to the AI of these drones. Fair enough, will we get some comments from DARPA and Sonalysts or not?

I'm expecting something from the analysis team any day now. I'll post it as soon as I get it.

How is the score on the leader board calculated? Is it the total of your four best campaign missions or just the score of your best mission?

Molon Labe 05-14-11 11:17 AM

They take your highest on each of the four and total them.
