Satellite-guided bombs? F-16s?

Ha! I laugh at you!

No real man would risk the ridicule of his colleagues by suggesting that he should fly anything other than the Aviatik C.I!

Did you drop them using CCRP? I've noticed that at least with laser-guided bombs it's easy to miss by being lax with your CCRP drop and thinking that it's guided anyway :D

I think you hit the nail Yes I dropped them with CCRP and the bombs were somehow dropped a little late than they should and I don't exactly know why....but I expect the GPS on those bombs will make up for it , well they should:nope:
Their accuracy is within less than 15 or even 10 feet I believe. They should hit!!!

Raptor1 06-27-09 12:42 PM

Sat-guided bombs can only be dropped with CCRP...

Anyway, unless you switch their targeting mode, the guidance drops one bomb on a separate target with the pre-programmed one going to the first bomb dropped. JDAMs fail sometimes too, so if your 1 missed bomb was the first dropped...

As for the game, it's Red Baron 3D

My beloved Red Baron 3D with some sort of mod. Awesome looking mod, indeed. I don't know which one it's from though.

I still break out Full Canvas Jacket and go on binges of playing it, as do I with the original Red Baron from like 1994. You just can't beat the classics.

You mean I can only drop one bomb at one target at any one time:shifty:?
Hmm I did turn on their targeting.

The mod is the Western Front Patch, which is rather awesome indeed (And I think it has some elements from FCJ as well incorporated into it too)

Hmm I did turn on their targeting.

The default targeting mode drops 1 bomb on each target, to maximize total mayhem and destruction, you can manually tell it where to drop each bomb by switching it from AUTO STEP to MAN STEP

Night Naval strike on enemy frigate task force

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...-28_165848.jpg
Bombing run. Two laser guided bombs armed and laser on, target has been locked. The enemy task force consisted of two frigates. I will have to choose one and let my wingman choose the other. Bombing altitude is 17,000 feet.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...-28_170019.jpg
Bombs released. The two scored direct hit on the enemy frigate.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...-28_170127.jpg
Enemy frigate burning badly. She's lighting up the night sky.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...-28_170130.jpg
The other frigate is trying to make a run for safety after witnessing the demise of her sister ship.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...-28_170356.jpg
But the other enemy frigate didn't get far, my wingman scored 2 direct hits on it crippling the vessel badly.

Two enemy frigates have been written off from the enemy naval order of battle at the cost of 4 LGBs. No Viper lost. :)

What happened to the Full Canvas Jacket mod?

It seems that it disappeared.

@ Raptor

Thanks for the info.

@Xabba

Their site went down a few years ago, and I have not seen or heard anything from the devs in all that time (including Captain Darwin). I have my original install disk for FCJ. If you want me to, I suppose I can upload the files somewhere (FileFront or MegaFile, if you'd like).

Raptor1 06-29-09 03:12 AM

Hmm, could you upload it? The screenshots I've seen of it look great

In the meantime, I found the PL2 terrain files
