This guy needs to do his research better

Saw this on the front page of subsim so thought ok I shall have a read.

Wasn't long into the article that there was a few errors I had noticed.

calling it a U boat I'm sorry that's a German term Russian boats were never called U boats.

566ft long would make it shorter than the Ohio when in fact the Typhoon is 575ft long (5ft longer than Ohio)

23,500tons is its dry surfaced displacement a full load submerged and she hits 48,000tons

Only 5 were built erm nope 6 actually TK208 TK202 TK20 TK17 TK13 TK12

the codename he has for Russia is Typhoon (which is NATOs code name) and Akula for NATO (Which is Russian)

He mentions the Borei class and how there's only 8 planned, well the 2020 announcement takes them to 10, he also states that they are considerably smaller, which to a degree yes they are but they are not much shorter they are narrower more inline with traditional SSBN's
The Author also states that its unlikely to have a pool and other amenities, well Borei does have a sauna she also has a recreation room separate from the mess so yeah ok not as much but they still have those spaces.

The west went to town when beluva was screwing up but forgot about throwing stones in their glass house, this statement "testing the buggy beluva" just adds to this.
I have seen documents and pictures showing Trident failing in fact there's been a few spectacular failures in trident even during a test firing 10 years after it was accepted.

My point here is that all new systems have bugs and eventually they get worked out you don't build perfection immediately.

Overall there's some real basic errors here that with a quick google search can be cleared up.
