Yeah, but.. Considering that the NFL doesn't allow for dynasties, last night sure felt like the end of an era. :wah:

Does Tom Terrific hang it up gracefully or maybe come back for one more season as a back-up QB/asst. off. coordinator?

I mean, he didn't look that bad last night, in reality, but it does look like he's lost a step. :hmmm:

The problem all season has been receivers. Had we kept AB or got someone to replace him, i'm pretty sure our boys wouldn't be out of it now.

3:24 left in the Vikings/Saints game

curse is still on with a Breeze fumble, but almost broken with a Vikings fumble for a touchdown called back.

Vikings won in 2017 on a fluky play

Saints lost last year in the playoffs to LA Rams on a miss called pass interference

Saints ball with 1:55 left

Go Saints

Mr Quatro 01-05-20 04:09 PM

7 seconds left Saints lined up for a field goal to tie the game

Remember Drew Bledsoe? I do. :o
Great guy with absolutely NO one to back him up on the line.

That's why I'm wondering if its better to find a replacement QB for next year while they rebuild the offence. I don't think Brady will want a new bargain contract. He doesn't deserve that from Foxboro.

The general belief around here is that Tom will stay on as the starter if that is what he wants to do at least for another year. With his filthy rich model wife money has never been an object for Brady so I don't think he'll demand a big payoff, especially if it will give us the cap space needed to get him some good receivers and shore up the O-line.

Well Sunday sure sucked. :wah:

Hopefully next Monday night will be better.

Sorry about your loss Fred ... three years in a row for the Saints spells a curse to me :yep:

What do you mean next Monday night?

All games are Saturday and Sunday now :yep:

The Houston Texans play the KC Chiefs Sunday which was already played last October and billed one of the best games of 2019

I pick the KC Chiefs

Here's their last game in brief:

After a thrilling Wild Card round that featured two overtime games and multiple shocking upsets, only eight teams remain with a chance at fulfilling their postseason dreams. The divisional round of the 2020 NFL playoff bracket is set, with the Baltimore Ravens, the No. 1 seed in the AFC, hosting the Tennessee Titans, who knocked off Tom Brady and the defending champion New England Patriots last week. Meanwhile, the San Francisco 49ers get set to make their 2020 NFL Playoffs debut at home against the Minnesota Vikings, who have beaten the Niners in four of their last five meetings.

A total of four tantalizing divisional round matchups will be on tap this weekend: Vikings vs. 49ers, Titans vs. Ravens, Seahawks vs. Packers and Texans vs. Chiefs. The Ravens, who enter the divisional round having won 12 consecutive games, are going off as 2-1 favorites to win it all in the latest 2020 Super Bowl odds. They're followed by the 49ers (7-2), Chiefs (7-2), Packers (7-1), Seahawks (12-1) and Vikings (18-1). The Texans and Titans are 30-1 long shots to win it all

Drew Bledsoe... I remember waaaaay back When Peyton Manning was still in College. I think it was shortly after the War of Northern Aggression. He was hot stuff back then.
