Nah, tried that, went ravaging and the only thing I ravaged was the patty wagon. Next time I dressed as a viking and went pillaging, still nothing

Nice one...call me old fashioned but it also reminds me of GWX emergency dive sequence :03:

It shouldn't. GWX's is taken from DBSM's, which is taken from the real emergence in the Gibraltar sequence.

No, missing man is a finger-four formation with one missing. That's a run-in and break, approach the airfield in finger-four and then one at a time peel away to join the circuit and land. :DL

I think you're wrong. When they peel off the do so from one end or the other. The Missing Man involves all four planes, with number three breaking up and out just before reaching the designated point. That picture looks like a Missing Man right at the breakout point.

Unless you were referring to the second picture with the Harriers, in which case I think you're right. His question was posted with the first picture, though.

I have been wrong before :hmmm: but I'm certain I'm not, at least not as a Brit. US may have the man pull away but I don't recall ever seeing it here in Blighty!

I, as usual, reserve the right to be wholly wrong :D

We need some fast jet jockeys from both sides of the pond to settle this.
