COVID-19 Vaccination: Post here if you have gotten the vaccination
Post here if you receive the vaccination,
First person to post, please provide some proof, thanks. Also, if you are a first responder, medical worker, nursing home worker or nursing home resident, etc. Neal |
Just received the first Moderna shot. I'm a hospital employee but don't work directly with patients, however, I do work with the medical patient care equipment. Proof will be forthcoming.
https://imagizer.imageshack.com/img923/4850/PYPKLm.jpg My arm got pretty sore at the injection site when I moved my shoulder, and remains sore today, but not flinch worthy. I also got a headache which was likely related the muscle tension and felt down but not out. It's all pretty much gone save for the shoulder now. I wonder how the main shot will feel? |
Second shot this morning about seven hours ago and I'm slowly starting to feel a bit achy. Tomorrow I'm expecting to feel crummy based on what others experienced.

Being currently a patient at a rehab facility, I was given no choice but to get vaccinated. To me it felt like any other shot.

There are many like it but this one is mine:
Standard Sputnik-V. You get a questionare then get shown the vial and get the shot. Then you are asked to wait nearby for 30min in case of a random deadly alergic reaction. I got it in a private clinic (the vaccine itself is free and pushed everywhere) due to convenience. |
First dose of Moderna, done.
Either no effects at all or the nurse missed. :o Update- Wound up with the minor/slight headache for a couple of days plus the slight body aches. No big deal at all. I thought I had a slight itch where the shot was given, turned out the nurse slapped on a band aid while I wasn't looking. Otherwise, my 5G reception is now quite remarkable. :yeah: Last update- Got the second dose today after bringing in some groceries, just in case. :yeah: |

I received my first shot about 6 hours ago. Just have some tenderness at the injection site. It is annoying
So far, I can't determine what the effects of changing my DNA are. Perhaps that happens after the second shot. :D |
Both Done
Just got second Pfizer yesterday (over 60 yrs. old/educator). First one had no effects except a bit of a sore shoulder the day after.
Over 24 hours since #2, no real effects! Slight achy head last night, nothing else. Less of a headache than a mild hangover! of course, a bit of soreness in shoulder as with all shots... |

Evening of the jab and the day after I got MILD and intermittent flu-like symptoms (feverish, shivery, bit of a headache and aching neck muscles) plus the site of the jab felt very bruised for 4 or 5 days after, hurting when I lifted it Moira gets hers on Sunday |
I got my shots. I think my arm was a little sore, that's about it.
|
Got my first Moderna shot on Thursday in well organized car line at county health center. Wife drove; so I was passenger- so right shoulder through open window administered by actual physician! :yeah: I'm still stiff today.

got it yesterday pfizer 1st one next on 3/28- no effects
|
Got mine at the local GP surgery yesterday as well, the nurse said she'd run out of forms so she'll post it to me, I didn't ask which one it was as I wasn't bothered which one was trying to turn me into a raving lunatic because I'm already one, no side effects as yet.
