But I ask you wether you had real fun playing a Yamato or the two ships in SH3.
When you had real fun, you should keep it up but when it was just cool drinving such a big ship you should leave it.:yep:

i really had fun sailing around and owning other ships, my favorite so far are the HK Alantis and the Admiral Graf Spee. I didnt like the Yamato b/c she was TOO!! strong, to the point that it became boring, but Admiral Graf Spee, Alantis and the recent Maya wernt like that. and i feel a Bismarck would be strong but not TOO strong, Scharnhorst is strong but again not too strong and Prinz Eugen would be like the Maya.:)

I always wanted to command the Bismarck:D, but no game others that w/ good graphics, and i would make all these ships myself if i knew how to make a 3D model, or even convert one.

**if someone wants to teach me how to work w/ S3D and convert the lightmaps i would be happy to do this myself**;)

It is a good point. Wouldn't the Bismarck be stronger than the Yamato?:hmm:
The Bismarck is a lil bit smaller than the Yamato, but faster and it had especially a faster reload time.

Okay, we do wanna have modders! But we won't teach everyone.
Learning all features in S3d is ver complex and it takes time. Writing everything down would take more time.
So open it and work with it. Questions are welcome, but don't ask how to rename anything, when you have done it already 3 times.:arrgh!:

Nope, I only made a basis of the Admiral Scheer. The Atlantis was Mikhayl's work:yep:

This mod is NOT finished and I won't finish it.
The lighmap especially is a piece of junk, you would need to redo the uv-map and the texture from zero, for the ship and the guns.
There's a visual problem with the propellers, I couldn't apply the lightmap to them so they're flickering.

Other than that the ship is fully functionnal (as far as I know) and doesn't look _that_ bad.



Feel free to modify/include this in your mods, just don't forget to mention the credits.

Now thanks to a god named Yamato1, a playable Bismarck is WIP, know we need a Prinz Eugen and Scharnhorst, BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY we need someone to make it either compatible w/ OM or better yet its own campaign, can anyone do this?

Hi guys,

How to command the Bismarck in the game? Enabled the mod with the JSGME and I loaded the SH4 (SH4 + U-boat Mission), but click campaign and start with a submarine, not the Bismarck...:cry:

You need to get a playable version of it. Either wait for my teams TSWSM in May for a heavily modifyied version. Or find Yamato1's verison.
