Does any game have these planes?

Hello I have been playing flight games for quite some time, from arcade games such as Ace Combat and Heroes of the Pacific, to more sim-esque ones like FA/18, and the IL2 series, yet something that bothers me, is that of all the planes I like to fly in games, WW2 heavy fighers are my favourite, and I have not flown many of them, in particular my favourite plane of WW2, the Ki-45 Toryu, as they get overshadowed by single engined planes, and usually the only one in them are a variant of the Bf-110. Hence the question is, are there any Games, or mod for a game that feature the Ki-45, and other heavy fighters such as the Pe-3, and night fighter variants of the Ju-88 (Ju-88G)?

PE-3 yes, JU-88C6 (Nachtjäger) yes, Ki-45 no.

However, the flight models of those many planes in the IL2 series are tuned for feeling different, not necessarily representative for the real types modeled. Some are said to be good, most are mediocre, some are bad.

I do not take IL2 as the final word for flight models.

Yeah, I believe the latest official versions of IL-2 1946 have most of these, and mods tend to have even more.

Thank you both of you, I think my problem lies in not possessing IL-2 Sturmovik:1946,hence now I am going to buy it, and get the mods with those planes for it. Thank you for your reply. Makes me wonder why they had the Ki-46 in Pacific Fighters, and not the Ki-45:hmmm:

If the latest IL-2 1946 doesn't have the planes you want, one of either HSFX, UP3, or DBW has those planes.

But be prepared to download very, very large files. Worth it though. :yep:

Thats why i dont have those mods. My internet sucks.

Im in the middle of getting the All-1946-patches-in-one-download. Its about 1 gb. It'll be awhile before theyre done.

Thanks for the replies, You lads are not joking, the downloads are fairly large to say the least... Rainy weather this time of wont make it faster, but for those planes, I think its worth it! RedOctober, I wish you luck with the download.

Last I checked, it's Time Remaining was upwards of 20 hours. Sometime tomorrow I will have a fully patched 1946. I think I can forget about DBW (The mod I want) because the download size is crazy large. I'll need to wait a few days for the Internet to recover and set the download. In a few days, if it actually completes, I'd have it. But thats a little much. To get GWX for SH3 which is about 3.3 gb, I set my computer to download it in parts for a full 5 days

EDIT: Holy Crap!!!! The Time Remaining jumped to about 2 hours!!!!

EDIT # 2: Nevermind. Jumped back to 15 hours. Now you see the problem with satellite Internet.

That must be frustrating! Did it finish?
Is it possible to combine the Ultrapack mod http://ultrapack.il2war.com/index.php
with this mod that makes the Ki-45 playable? http://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php?topic=20975.0

Yes. It finished yesterday. I am getting the 4.11 and 4.11.1 patches now.

I got this tool called Free Download Manager. Google it. It works really well for large files.
