Critical Toilet Paper Poll

Put down your AR-15 and do a quick inventory: how many rolls of TP do you have on hand currently?

If you are in the middle of an activity that requires the use of TP, complete this business then take your count.

:O:

I have 12 rolls all brand new still in the package they came in willing to trade for any old classic automobile or truck :D

Bilge_Rat 03-18-20 11:45 AM

I have over 20, bought on sale at Costco a few months back. Nothing to do with the crisis, it was just a good deal. :ping:

Sorry, I don't answer personal questions.

Over 20 rolls purchased a few months ago? :o

Good grief man didn't you use any in those few months?

Ok you made me look. We have an unopened 30 pack of TP and an unopened 12 pack of paper towels from Costco. I guess I will sleep soundly tonight. :D

Our local store still has toilet paper.

Quite some more. For bartering. :O:

As decribed on another day, I run a warehousing regime since long, and what gets consumed, immediately gets replaced.

Its also often used over here like cotton balls - for any other purpose than its primary one.

after my midnight trip to Lucky's for the only three packs on the shelf as the stockperson(s) were just gearing up; I'm good for the month! However my boat captain's 103 year-old mom recalled using pages from the Sears catalogue growing up with a two-holer out-house in Wisconsin...and so I'm holding a stack of similar old phone books in reserve! I hauled paper from every papermill in the country in my trukkin' days: paper is paper; no need to get particular about style.:arrgh!: :know:

it's a Canadian thing, we like to "be prepared". You never know when a massive storm will dump 3 feet of snow on the ground….:ping:

You heard of the new double-side-use toilet paper? The result is always at hand.

GOOD NEWS

Just before going to work checked my town centre and all but one shop were out. That one shop had two pallets and people were snatching them fast, restricted to two packs of four but hey I am glad. :)

That should get through a couple of weeks so will have to keep an eye out again in the mean time I am standing down to Yellow Alert.
