Propeller speed mod side effects

Hello

So I recently tried the propeller speed mod. It just makes them spin faster so it looks better. A cosmetic mod with no side effects. Right?

Um maybe. I am not sure if it is just me or not, but it seems that the Kriegsshiffen seem to be able to hear me a lot easier. So I disabled the mod and suddenly they can't.

Now I haven't gone back and forth and back an forth in some systematic way to prove it. What I am wondering is if the rest of us Kaluns have noticed this and what are your thoughts?

I have it too, but haven't noticed that so far.
I'll have an eye on it more closely.

After much expirimentation i believe you are correct. With the prop speed mod, which to our assumptions only changes the visual affect of the propeller's speed of revolution, it appears that escorts were able to more easily hear my approach, and hear me to a much deeper depth (220 M in some cases) than with the mod disabled.

I am glad it isn't just my imagination.
