TLAM Strike 12-26-05 10:55 PM

Is that all you got Ivan!! LOL

It takes more than two ASW helos, and two MPAs to kill me! After firing my missiles I detect the ping of a Helo dipping sonar two miles away I surface and see a twin-engine aircraft flying low and dropping a torpedo as well as gunfire from the helo zipping past my head. I pop off a few SAMs take both out, launch my CMs and run. I dodge the torp they fired. I hear another helo closing I surface and there is a big four engine Bear-F at the same range heading right for me. I fire a SAM at it as its guns take a few shots at me. He goes down. I line up on the helo and after three shots I final nail him. I dived and ran like hell after that!

What do you think you are, an Aegis cruiser?

Yes I thought the 1.03B brought some more realism in that aspect in a sense that you would not be able to kill as much air platform with your sub (at least a lot more complicated!?)

Then I am kind of disapointed

With which vesion were you playing with?

TLAM Strike 12-27-05 03:26 PM

I was using 1.03B and LWAMI 3.0B. But if those aircraft hadn't droped a bunch of torpedoes on the other subs in that mission I would have been dead.

That's good shooting, TLAM, especially given you were using 3.00b. :)

Molon, are you there??? :-j

Wow. Nice shootin', Tex.

You must make MP aircraft cry.

Have to design an Anti Air Warfare qualification badge for yourself. :)
