Recommended SH4 Mods
 

I just got SH4 today and I was wondering what are some good mods for it.

Trigger Maru Overhauled 2.5 and Run Silent Run deep. Real Fleet Boat is also great(along with RSRD of course). Run Silent Run Deep is a must, it adds historical traffic to the campaign.TMO fixes the half idiot AI. RFB is a great mod as well, but escorts are still a bit on the dumb side. Make sure you have V 1.5 of the game, nearly all mods are for V 1.5

Thanks, what about Fall of the Rising Son? I also downloaded Cold Warriors Steel Sharks but I heard it had a lot of bugs. Is that true?

i will tell you 2 words right on spot....make 2 installations both 1.5 using multish4 1.5

get tmo/rsrd for fleetboats
for atlantic and whole immersed german side get OM/OMEGU
ofcourse after you get this....i can recommend exactly what minor mods u need

get FOTRS if you like only graphical elements..but believe me....trigger maru oberhauled for PTO with run silent run deep

and operation Monsun with its OMEGU patches for better experience for the ATO
u will enjoy yourself

if you want to simply sail the sea in Class and like a little more action
get cdp44's playable surface shippack there's quite a few classes to choose from
and it's a well made mod built on top of other nice mods.
