Any good way to practice using a TDC?

Hello! I'm hoping to find some way to practice inputting target data and seeing how my firing solutions work. I have been reloading a save where I run into a convoy to get targets but it ends up taking a lot of time and I was wondering if there was some quicker, simpler way to practice.

Do you play unmodded game or TWoS?

If the latter, in historical missions there are several tutorial missions designed for torpedo solution practice - from memory, one places you among several docked ships, other among moving ships going in various directions and yet another in position to attack a moving convoy.

Another way is to simply make your own mission. SH5 comes equipped with mission editor (you'll find it in game folder), you can use it to make simple mission placing a huge unescorted convoy in front of your sub to use as target practice. Takes just a few minutes to set up - I do it all the time testing damage models of modded ships. This would have added benefit of you knowing speed and course of targets so if your own calculations in game are wrong you will know where you made a mistake.

Thank you for the tips.
