New Flotilla mod and BeeryWater mod
 
New Flotilla Mod

I couldn't keep these under wraps any longer. I've released the new 1944-45 start dates as part of a new Flotilla mod. This is available now at my website www.beerymod.com or directly from http://www.beerymod.com/Flotilla1.44.7z.

This mod adds new career start dates for 1944 and 1945 for all the flotillas that are around at that time. It also frees up the non-available flotillas (12th, 33rd) for career starts.

Let me know in this thread how it's working. Also, be sure to read the readme file, as there is a work-around listed for an SH3 bug that affects this mod.

When the next version of SH3 Commander comes out, all the months of the war will be available as career start dates. Until then, all 1944-45 start dates are in January of those years.

New BeeryWater Mod

There's a new BeeryWater mod available at my site, or available directly from http://www.beerymod.com/BeeryWater1.44.zip.

This mod adds the new, bluer and more realistic night sky to the game.

Ok you got me this time. I deleted all mods except Seans skins, cos i had problems with CTD and multiplayer. And yep i did use thatmod enabler. So ive been playing SH3 standard. But im about to dl your latest rub. I missed the realism, also starting a career in 44 would be good for those that can't wait any longer for XXI :rock:

Oh i just realised this aint the latest RUB mod but a flottia mod, do i have to have the RUB 1.43 enabled for this to work?

It should work with any version of the game, modded or not.

Great....I left SH3 collecting dust on a shelf some months ago, when I noticed that playing without Wlfpacks was stupid on a sim like this. I tried the Type 9 on long patrols because those subs did wolpack only seldomly, but now I can use a type 7C as lone wolf on a historically correct period :D

Gonna reinstall SH3 and start a career in 1944-45 from Trondheim

There is no way. Although it's a relatively simple matter of replacing one of the current flotillas, since 3rd Flotilla doesn't currently exist in the game this would be a huge project demanding a lot of work. It's far, far beyond my ability given my current time constraints.

It's included, but this new version contains a lot of great new content. It's going to be in RUb1.44, but I released this part early as a standalone mod because I don't think RUb 1.44 will be out for a few weeks, and I wanted players to have access to this great new feature in the meantime.
