why are the liners in a convoy? didn't liners usually travel alone, and at very high speed to avoid the uboats?

I think so but since I found them in that convoy they were the highest priority target!

That is the case, but see, this convoy was smart. They surrounded these two innocent liners, and corralled them into the center columns, knowing that, as 42k ton a piece high value targets, they would be the first to get shot, giving them time to high-tail it out of the area.

Looks like their tactics worked! :haha:

Hi folks

the secound patrol from Trondheim. It's not sunrise, it's not dawn - it is just "HIGH NOON" on december , 26th 1944 (close to Trondheim):
