Possible Bug When Trying To Save Realism Settings?
 
when I try to uncheck the box for unlimited fuel it won't save.I hate sailing into japanese waters and running out of gas before getting home.:k_confused:

In the stock game or with mods? Note that mods may re-define the settings to be moved in your savegame folder - and yes - if it's not meant to do these changes then bad things could ensue, but I don't know for sure, I would have to try it out.

what message are you seeing when you click Apply Settings?

Setting Realism Options

Realism settings for Single Missions and Campaigns are located in two different areas.

If you're playing a single missions, go to Options on the Home Page.

However, if you're playing a Campaign, you need to set up Options in the Commander's Office prior to beginning the Patrol. Click on the Radio on the bookcase on the left to bring up options menu. Click on Game Play Options, pick Options and Save.
