GWX 3 Gold or... whatever

Thank you for the Welcome message, but...
But.
The GWX either won't install (keeps obsessively asking for the clean copy SH3) on one laptop - or doesn't work (crashes to desktop) on another laptop.
Ironically, the CTD problem is the first one to be attributed to the original SH3, in the GWX manual.
Nice work guys.

~AND~ if you have SH3 installed in a Program Files directory, SH3 will not mod correctly. ~AND~ if you fail to empty the Save folder after applying a mod, the game will crash... it is not a GWX issue. You might also try setting the compatibility for SH3.exe, especially if using a newer Windows. Consult THEBERBSTER's thread ... > TUTORIALS <> ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW < ... for some necessary Win10 settings - plus other information. :salute:

So do I, and an eleven year old laptop at that. Runs just fine.

Can you even run the vanilla SH3 without any mods?
GWX is one of the most stable megamod, as well as NYGM.
NYGM beeing the lighter one, and the less perf hit i think.
