Indeed, she hopes to join us soon once she's mastered the art of take-offs and landings. Well...take offs, I think we're all still fairly novice at the landing lark :O: Heck, we're pretty novice at take offs sometimes...

If you need some help just ask.

We can take off just fine, it just seems that every time we do someone puts a tree or the Fieseler Storch in our way...

Schroeder 06-27-10 03:56 PM

Or someone sneezes, or a joystick quits, or a cat attacks, or the runway jumps.....:O:

Oberon 06-27-10 04:08 PM

Or the Disco runway eats your undercarriage and rear fuselage...

Oberon 06-27-10 04:13 PM

A miracle did occur though!

I took off and flew a Me-262, without a BBQ!! :doh::doh::doh:

Furthermore! I landed it...kinda...erm...

Jammed the flaps by forgetting to retract them after take off, but landed properly...and then something fell off and then something else fell off and then I slowly ground to a halt.

Afterwards I switched to the external view to find out what it was:

Indeed. As Oberon said, I'm working on my Take offs and will be working on landing... somewhat XD First attempt, my plane decided it wanted to be a submarine instead.
And had my first death by an invisible tree  My take offs are pretty erratic, can't stay straight :88)

Schroeder 06-28-10 09:55 AM

You can lock your tail wheel on take offs. That should make the whole thing a lot more stable.:yep:

Geno_Mariner 06-28-10 10:25 AM

Just got a key assigned for it. Starting to look better til I ran out of runway  Thanks :D

Oberon 06-28-10 05:55 PM

Nothing a bit of masking tape won't fix :yeah:

Great pics as always SH, really must try the demo out sometime and see how it runs on this rig. :yep:

Failed Take-off
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...2/1winglol.png

Whole wing, gone

Oberon 06-29-10 08:00 AM

Ack...I've just realised. If GenoMariner does join the Lolwaffles, we're going to be completely outnumbered by the Cheesies!

Schroeder 06-29-10 08:12 AM

Er, I thought she's from Australia....

Arclight 06-29-10 08:15 AM

Eh? Aussies are Cheesies too? Or is that a recent development? :hmmm:

Anyway, 't is for the best. With all this tea-talk, I fear we're losing Hunter to tea Darkside. :nope:

I am Australian but I am born Dutch ;) Though my Dutch speaking/writing knowledge is small because I came to Aus pretty early. (But Dutch food...)
