All sorted :D full screen and not a jaggie in sight. Herr-Berbunch is now Herr-HappyBunny. :yeah: Was a bit worried for a moment when the ocean started to resemble the Himalayas!

OK, more 1946 practice for me tonight with the aim of joining in a lolwaffle game sometime soon. Am I of the same high standard? :hmmm: I tried a variety of aircraft

All successful so far, shot stuff down (not my guys!) with the Hurricane, blew up a ship (the actual target) with torpedoes from the He-111. Also, not pictured here, I led some C-47s over a snowbound Slovakia - is it just me or do you all like trying to get the AI to crash into things. :D

Finally, my masterpiece, worthy of a slot amongst the lolwaffles - :yeah:

The AI doesn't generally need much encouragement to crash into...well...anything. Particularly the player aircraft...they seem magnetically drawn to it in a dogfight. :hmmm:

Well, Herr B, we have a game tonight (Monday) so, feel free to hone your P-47 smashing skills and join us. 2100Z in Arcs TS. I presume you have the same HSFX as us? 5.01? Well, you must have, it's the latest one.

They should be updating soon to take into account the new IL2 patch...but they said the timeframe was '2 weeks' about 5 weeks ago... :hmmm:

Can't get the 5.01 hotfix to run, says it's incompatible with my OS which I doubt as I'm far from the only one running win 7 64 bit. Tried a couple of different download locations. I'll keep trying :cry:

HunterICX 03-05-12 04:42 AM

That's odd since I got Win 7 64bit too and I had no problem.

So where does this say it's incompatible?
When you launch the installer?

As soon as I run the exe. I can find nothing at m4t or sas1946 to indicate there are 32 and 64 bit versions. :cry: The file has been run from desktop, IL2 folder, and root, all mods are disabled in JSGME.

@TarJak - lovely addition :yeah:

HunterICX 03-05-12 05:30 AM

Have you tried any of the compability modes (right click -> properties -> compability)

The prelude of the battle, when the pulse of the pilots starts to go faster and the adrenaline run through their veins.

Pulse

Sometimes, it is not a matter of fighting, or shooting down some huns. Sometimes, it is just the feeling of freedom you have when you are up there.

Freedom
