Russian submarine seen entering the Baltic Sea early on the morning of 9 July
I have a suggestion for the Secretary of the Navy ... :yep:
Lets drop some underwater drones from ASW helios and use them to buss this Russian K-266 back to it's home waters. You know like they buss our patrol planes with their fighter jets coming within feet of disaster to frighten our Navy patrol planes. Retrieve them and scare them underwater ... :yep: Would they report it? What could they do? https://estonianworld.com/security/a...he-baltic-sea/ A powerful Russian nuclear submarine spotted entering the Baltic Sea Quote:

Like the TK208 a couple of years back she is coming up the Baltic for Navy day the water is too shallow to dive the boat and is proceeding in accordance to the rules of the road.
Now should we buzz them ? we already have done so and the big thing about this is we do it to them often and just as much as they do it to us, but alas the Russians are technically operating in waters that are just as much theirs as they are Sweden Norway Denmark and other baltic states. Her transit will likely be followed by type 212 a gotland and the polish Orzel in a relay if you like. This is really uncomfortable territory for a project 949A boat because she is so large and the diving depths plus available space is so limited for her. |
