@Charlie
From what I know the 109s were not equipped with droptanks during BoB causing their rather short combat time over the British Isle. I think they got them later.:hmm: But great pictures non the less.:D |

Here are those pictures you wanted Kratos
Can't see a thing (Contrary to the chat messege): http://img211.imageshack.us/img211/6...9110973kr9.jpg You might say that the weather was not as good as it was in Poland: http://img224.imageshack.us/img224/9...9115062cz1.jpg And, of course, business as usual: http://img246.imageshack.us/img246/8...9123156yq3.jpg We were tasked with escorting some bombers but we decided that there's no point dogfighting in those conditions (Winds were insane, blew my aircraft onto the taxiway as soon as the mission started and I had to take off in reverse) and the bombers weren't anywhere in sight so we RTBed after about 10 minutes |
Ah well just another day at the office was it? ;) :up:

Climb, you bastard! Climb, climb, climb, climb!
http://img503.imageshack.us/img503/4...0462301sr1.jpg I've grown very fond of the B-25. It's a good crate, it doesn't get the attention it deserves.:yep: |
It's probably the bes bomber you can have in Il-2.
It's defensive weapons make it very dangerous for fighters. The only disadvantage is the empireal bombsight. The German ones can be adjusted more accurately. |
