Some tests
Hi ZW,
so first impression on WM1 is woooaaahh!! Fantastic. I enjoyed this mission verry much. Colour is great, envirionment is great. Love the sky!! There are some texture issues with the ground (only minor) BUT this one was fantastic. Shooting tanks!!!:yeah: German Mission 1 I tested GM1 . The envirionment has changed, AI has changed. COOL. I dont know exactly what but its different (better). Oh yes, airplanes too. My Tiger had now a brown cammo, not a green one. I have found some issues. 1, The KV 85 rear is to heavy protected.:damn: Please tweak it. We shot more than 15 rounds in his a.., engine but we couldnt destroy it. The KV 85 was heading away from me. 2, Leaving the town and heading towards the ZIS guns i saw strange grey lines circles in the air, closing in they disappeared. This for the first one, going back to see/test more. PS. Thank you for your hard work and keep the updates coming. Sorry i must leave, my Tiger has to engage the enemy now:03: |
Played the Beta mission, 10.5 fps average with Geforce 560-TI's SLI'ed.
Still very playable. Still pulling right or left a bit depending on where you are on the map. Wish you could get the sight to stay set where the AI gunner is shooting to be set to say 1600 when you take over the position, instead of having to re-set the sight. Won of course. Move along, nothing to see here......... |

As for the Gun site being set to a specified range; this would create a problem because the range adjustment is connected to the mouse wheel zoom. And when you change view (as Gunner ) to F6 and zoom in and out around the outside of the tank, this mouse wheel action is at the same time changing the Gun Site range. So, quick fix for you is; Find an F6 view zoom distance you like then go in the F5 or F3 view at set the Gun range using the Keypad 7 (zoom in) and Keypad 1 (zoom out). Alright!! got internet just in time for the update!! Played the winter mission GREAT STUFF 20 fps solid. Played the 1st Citadel mission. Have a few hiccups, stutters. The forest lines look like they have a white fence around them, far off land textures look white as if missing,( the horizon texture issue is in all the missions old & new ) I see tanks on the map but no wingman or other vehicles as I go up the hill. Zee, this is just feedback, not being critical, this is really amazing work, thanks!!!

The view when he's out of the hatch. The best way to check if you may be missing texture files is look through the F3, F5 or F6 views. just one question. As my monitor runs 1920*1080 is it possible in the future to tweak info boxes size? Its too big on my monitor. Can i tweak it myself? So you do not need to concern about it. Thanks LC |

Thank you for all who took the time to give your feedback.:up: I made allot of changes that you all will be quit happy with. The new menus and screen images are one example.
