RSRDC Mod for GFO
 

Looking for the above mod, would the latest be v401?
I understand that I need a small GFO mod that will enable RSRDC to play nicely with GFO, but I can't find it anywhere. Does anyone know where I can find this?

Review lurker_hlb3's post [REL] Run Silent, Run Deep - The Campaign - be mindful of what goes with what. GFO is basically Stock, as far as the Campaign files go, so you would use the RSRDC_SH15_v550 and small patch. Notice also that with TMO's version, you do not need to apply the TMO Small Patch, just RSRDC and its patch on top of TMO. The TMO Small Patch removes the Terrible Tambor, which RSRDC does by default, since it modifies the Flotillas file also. Also be aware that RSRDC does alter other aspects of the game, but that can be a good thing. ymmv

Thank you. Is there a RSRD version for FOTRSU? I've not come across any reference to any, if there's one.
I intend to switch over to that mod once I've completed my current campaign - I'm hoping I can bring my captain all the way to the end of the war, having started in Dec 1941 in an S-class.

No, there is not. CapnScurvy was given carte blanche by lurker_hlb3 to do as he pleased with the files, and we might manage that, one of these days. Parts of it are incorporated here and there in FotRSU, as well as probably 75% of the Alaskan traffic, with edits to a more historical roster than what lurker had available back then. That is the difficult part, in basically re-building the whole group in each file of each layer, some of which have over 2000 groups. A rather intimidating task. We also need to have CapnScurvy come out of his entirely-too-early-of-a-retirement at least long enough to give us OTC for FotRSU... then life would be good. :O:
