Operation Monsoon

Where can I get this mod ? Maybe I'm blind, but I can't find it anywhere.

John Pancoast 06-26-19 06:59 AM

Disregard, found it.

You might also consider the Fifi Compilation for OM+OMEGU add-on, which goes on top of OM705, OM705-720, OMPatch5, OMEGU300 & OMEGU300Patch7. Fifi is currently working on re-doing the submarines, which he has several "teasers" on the last couple of pages of his thread. Very nice looking stuff that he is doing... :salute:

Thanks, I'll look into that.

In terms of installing the stock game before OM, etc. mods, am I correct in this order:

- SH4
- Ubisoft SH4 patch 1.4

Then the OM, etc. mods ?

John Pancoast 06-26-19 09:00 AM

Disregard this too; I have 1.0 of SH4, so I installed 1.4 and then 1.5. Now, I'll install OM, etc.

Fifi 06-26-19 11:13 AM

Yes you need SH4 + UBM add on to run OM :yep:
(UBM = U-Boat Missions)

When installing OM+OMEGU as in Lurker thread, make sure all mods have the correct path (mod/data) because OMEGU for instance has mods inside...

Make sure to install and activate the 4GB patch!

Thanks, installing now including your work. I've followed the install patch on your mods first page. Is the 4GB patch the one at here at the downloads section, for SH4 ?

Fifi 06-26-19 11:47 AM

Don’t Remember if it was inside OMEGU or elsewhere, but you can get it here for 64 bit machines: http://www.ntcore.com/4gb_patch.php

I have installed also the LAA application (Large Adress Aware) linked to my SH4.exe
With both, i don’t have any memory issue!
(Dunno where you can get it, but i’m Sure somebody will tell you)

Thanks again. I've installed the one here at subsim. Game is loading now, so we'll see.

John Pancoast 06-26-19 11:53 AM

Game/campaign loaded fine. Looks great, I'll dive into later when more time.

Fifi 06-26-19 11:54 AM
