Did any convert SH-3 Ships too Run in SH-4
 

I'm hoping some one would convert a elco pt from SH-3 and maybe a fletcher destroyer to SH-4

Yes, it can be done. You can download the utility Silent 3ditor here on subsim, and use it to clone a unit similar to whatever ship you want, and then and export the 3d .obj files and reimport them to make a new Silent Hunter 3 based unit. Take a look at the link below:

THX for the response,, I was hoping some one had a conversion floating around to test drive ,, back in the SH-3 days I drove a few ships and I liked that they had a pilothouse I really miss that.

I thought I posted a link to a program that would convert an SH3 Unit to SH4 standards at a click?
It will do 90 percent of the work.
Now if you talking playable?
I'd try converting the SchnellBoot mod with it.

Be aware you'd have to do the AO mappings and Normal mappings for a complete and proper conversion.
