Blank bdu messages
 

So not a unique problem, been looking at the other threads to try and find a solution alas, have not found one yet.

So did a fresh install of sh3, then install GWX, followed by Steiblers patch followed by hsie patch. Did put in the supplement, but forgot to make the additions but then added those in. Finally put the supplement as the last installed mod. So far, still blank bdu.

I have tried adding the amended text directly into the installed enmenu.txt even added the amended text into the static settings for sh3 commander.

So far no dice.

Is there a step that I have missed? Should I try for a fresh install?

You say you installed Stiebler's patch, yet I don't see it listed. Also, H.sie's patch should be installed before Stiebler's not vice versa as you state.
Blank messages always mean the message being looked for is not available in your install.
