Got half my tail blown off last week I think:

And tonight I landed with a shredded tire on the right main gear, with predictable outcome:

I'll give you the wreckages are mine, the KC-135 exploding is caused by one really annoyed Raptic Foxor1, your recent loss of tail and tyre are not in any way my responsibility - in fact you've got away lightly this last few weeks...! :hmmm:

I'll try harder to fly into a SAM or 2. :O:

Server coming up.

Arclight 10-20-11 05:35 PM

There. Flew into the ground, failing to pull out of a gun run.

Ah, and who can forget that AAA that took off a wing next flight. Not the best night. :nope:

Anyways:

Friendly convoy we were supporting. Not a scratch on 'm.

Spectacular!

Herr-Berbunch 10-27-11 02:09 PM

Any chance of setting the starting time to before dawn so we can get some night flying in?

Don't worry if it's not easy, or delays the timings of events like the convoy and the tanker.

Arclight 10-27-11 02:17 PM

Nope, no problem. Delays are from mission start, regardless of a specific time. ;)

We can barely fly in the day, and you want to add darkness into the equation? :O:

Arclight 10-27-11 03:03 PM

Yes. And I can fly just fine, thankyouverymuch. :O:

Server coming up.

I offered to mark the southern-most tip of 'That Place', where the ZSU-23s reside, with smoke - I even took one out with my airframe! :yeah:

http://img214.imageshack.us/img214/3...35approach.jpg

Dowly nicely approaching the tanker for some... :hmmm:

http://img695.imageshack.us/img695/3...35wingover.jpg

Target practice. :D

Note the aerodynamics of a missing wing, the remaining one just keeps on liftin', liftin' and spirallin', spirallin' and, err...

Falling!

Arclight 10-27-11 07:34 PM

We don't take reservations. :O:

(Full flaps is for landing Spike, not take-off. ;) )

Spike88 10-27-11 07:47 PM

Ah, I thought 30 flaps was for landing, until I realized the flaps didn't actually go down to 30. I'm used to flying commercial craft. :haha:

Hey... I recognize that plane.

Herr-Berbunch 10-28-11 07:38 AM

Was nice to see so many one there for a change :yeah:

Dowly 10-28-11 07:46 AM

Yeah, need to see if I can be arsed to start learning the A-10C a bit more
(usually give up pretty quickly) and fly more.

Oh your mate popped in for a bit, Noisy or something like that.

Yeah, Noisy Lightning, he quit about 5 mins before I booted up my 'puter. Air trafficker. Said you guys had help him.

I need to be arsed more too, all I do is the Thursday night thing, and once I reskinned an a/c and did a quick mission just to take screenies (for Oberon, actually, whatever happened to his A-10C?). Arc must really have a lot of patience flying with us amatuers. :yep:

Ooh, forgot the F-16 pilot with the bag on his head, here he is...

Arclight 10-28-11 11:08 AM

Half the time I'm prosecuting a target, typing a response to 2 different questions and answering a 3rd one over TS at the same time.

Herr-Berbunch 10-28-11 01:09 PM

Half the time I'm trying to avoid colliding with the ground, whilst asking a question, getting a beer, checking subsim for funny pics or jokes. Oh, and avoiding an annoyed Raptor1's ammunition! :yeah:

hawk2495 10-30-11 04:42 AM

Wow I've missed a few things... Good to see you're all still well... ish.

Spike88 10-30-11 11:19 AM

Most of the time I'm asking questions while using auto-pilot and trying to answer my questions myself by pushing random buttons that I think will work.

Arclight 10-31-11 05:14 PM

Tricksy ferret.

Herr-Berbunch 11-01-11 08:10 AM

Once again a good, unexpected, night. I thought I'd ask Arc to start the server and muck about for an hour, not be joined by everyone and go to bed over three hours later!

And I've learnt all about the pitfalls of freemium games to boot
